Lets take a closer look at the background…
The background was created using Brushos. If you’ve read over some of my other blog posts, you will know that I LOVE brushos! As stated on the Brusho Crystal Colour website, Brusho Crystal Colours are amazingly versatile watercolor ink crystals that can be used in a myriad of different ways. Incredibly vivid, vibrant, and brilliant, they open up a world of possibilities for painters, mixed media artists, and crafters of every level, from student to professional.
Totally intermixable, Brusho Crystal Colours can be used on paper, canvas, or even wood. Sprinkle them directly on a wet substrate and watch intriguing organic patterns appear almost like magic. Or sprinkle Brusho Colours on a wet brush, painting knife, or texture tool to create a variety of gorgeous effects. You can dissolve them in water and apply them with a spray bottle, or add them to wax paste or gel mediums for body.
This was simply done with spraying the page with water and sprinkling the Brusho on to it. I sprayed some more water on it until I was happy with the look, then left it to dry.
Thanks for joining me and be sure to check out the Jess Crafts Digitals blog for many more ideas on how to use these awesome digital stamps….it can be found at http://jesscraftsdigitals.blogspot.com.au/. A big thankyou to Jess Gertsner for having me on her design team!
