‘Cremona Farm’ for Shop and Crop Scrapbooking

Hello, Sarah here for the first layout of the year for Shop and Crop Scrapbooking.  Welcome to 2017! Here’s wishing it’s a good one for you!

This layout is created from the Bo Bunny ‘Farmers Market’ Collection.  Such a versatile collection, this could be used for themes of Thanksgiving, a visit to the local Farmers Market, family, food, autumn and many more!  The chipboard stickers are adorable and the sticker sheet plentiful.  Here’s the kit I have been working with. This is available in store now at https://www.shopandcrop.com.au/

These photos were from a visit in July to an overnight barn stay at Cremona Hillside Farm in Mt Boulton, Victoria.  My boys just loved exploring the farm, petting the animals and seeing the goats be milked (despite the cold and muddy weather!).

I created this layout by using a piece of cardstock from my stash and layered the ‘Farmers Market’ patterned paper on top.  I added a slight layer of white gesso to tone down the images a little and spread some Dylusions paints in ‘Cut Grass’ and ‘Fresh Lime’ using a palette knife in places.  I wanted to pick up on the green grass in the photos and add some more solid colour to the background.

I mounted the photos on patterned paper in the kit and added some cardboard behind them to add some height once adhered.  The chipboard stickers were used as embellishments and the sticker letters to create the title ‘Cremona Hillside Farm’.

I hope you enjoyed this layout and stay tuned for another project coming soon using this Bo Bunny collection. Be sure to pop over to the Shop and Crop blog to see the talented Design Team layouts and inspiration galore!
