Show Us Your Stuff April Challenge

  This months challenge over at Show Us Your Stuff spoke to me….getting creative with stamps is what I love to do (well, one of the things anyway!).

 I created this bright, bold background using Dylusions paints in Squeezed Orange, Fresh Lime and Crushed Grape, applied with a palette knife. Such fun! This was then mounted on to black cardstock.
I added layered papers from my stash to this gorgeous photo of my nephew and youngest son. I mounted the photo on foam tape to provide some dimension.

I had some stamped cut out images from a Dina Wakley class I attended to layer behind the photo. I used a Finnabair stamp (not sure of the name) and a Kaisercraft Edges stamp for the background.

I used the beautiful Charms Creations triangle embellishments and black bow to finish off the layout.

Here are some close up shots;

  1. Love the names of colours you’ve used! Such a bright and vibrant LO. The way you incorporated the stamping in your layers looks very cool. Thanks for playing along with us at SUYS.
